Railway
The railway network is very well developed, it covers a large area of the
country and it can be considered the most popular way of transportation the
cheapest The slowest trains are the so called “personal” trains. The next category
of trains (a little more expensive but faster) are the “Intercity”, “Rapid” or “Accelerat” trains.

Buses
in the last few years transportation with buses between bigger cities has
become the cheapest and fastest way of travelling.

Taxi
State and private-owned taxis are equipped with meters. As for many things in Romania, prices are more than reasonable.

Air Travel
Tarom, the national airline company, has flights to major province cities. However it is wise to remember that Bucharest is the centre of the network, so a return to Bucharest is often necessary in order to go to another city.
